Rbecka

RBECKA is a young talented singer from Stockholm, Sweden.

Born in Järfälla on the 2nd of February 1998,  Rebecka Rydgren is the oldest of three siblings. Music has always been a major part of her life when growing up.
Her first solo performances were at shows organised by her elementary and middle school. It was also on these stages she performed with her first band, playing covers of different Green Day songs.

Her interest in music grew when she enrolled at Internationella Engelska Skolan in Järfalla, where the teachers encouraged her to perform at the shows organised by the school at the end of each term. Over the years, Rebecka has performed on several stages throughout Sweden and also in several talent shows, both in Sweden and abroad.
She has sung numerous times in Kungsträdgården in Stockholm, among other locations.

Rebecka’s voice is marked by a unique vibrato, complementing her already distinct singing. Her powerful and compelling voice allows her to convey raw emotion. She draws inspiration from singers such as Florence Welch, Adele, Loreen and Matt Corby.
Her music can be described as a mixture of pop and rock, in combination with a dramatic and mysterious atmosphere.

In late spring 2015, she came into contact with Ditte Lindbom, a songwriter and producer at Lövholmen Studio in Stockholm. This collaboration has lead to the release of her first single “Should Have Surrendered”, through the record label Young Music Sweden. More songs will be released during 2016.

Drums By Fredo have been a part of the project as a drummer and drumprogramming
